Headquartered in New York City with an additional studio in Lisbon, Portugal, the company creates free-to-play games monetized through advertising and premium subscriptions. Its titles reach over 25 million monthly users across its own site, Arkadium.com, and a distribution network that includes USA Today, The Washington Post, AARP, and MSN. Arkadium is best known for developing the Microsoft Solitaire Collection and the modern version of Minesweeper, both pre-installed on Windows operating systems. The company's portfolio includes hit games like Word Wipe, Mahjongg Dimensions, Outspell, and Hurdle.
