BAM Software and Services LLC was a privately held US-based technology company that built and operated the BAM Interactive Platform, a comprehensive white-label solution for licensed real-money pari-mutuel wagering on horse and greyhound racing. Founded in early 2007 and headquartered in San Francisco, California, the company developed a fully integrated ecosystem that connected licensed operators with more than 300 racetracks worldwide, enabling commingled wagering pools, live video streaming, real-time age/geo-verification, and electronic payment processing. Its flagship deployment, BetAmerica.com, launched in 2008 and grew to become the fourth-largest advance deposit wagering site in the United States, handling $126.8 million in wagers by 2016 and paying out over $500 million in winnings during its lifetime. BAM also operated TrackInfo.com and OnlineRacing.TV. In 2017, the BAM Interactive Platform and BetAmerica.com were sold to Churchill Downs Incorporated, after which the founders reorganized as Potent Systems to develop new pari-mutuel-powered mobile games. BAM Software and Services was fully licensed and regulated within the US and employed an estimated 11–50 people at its peak.
