History and Founding

iTech Labs was founded in 2004 in Melbourne, Australia, by Kiren Sreekumar, who served as CEO and managing director for 19 years. Under his leadership, the company expanded from its Australian base to open testing facilities in India and Bulgaria, achieving consistent year-on-year growth and establishing itself as a trusted name in iGaming certification. The company played a key role in developing the Australian Internet Gaming Standards, which later influenced regulatory standards worldwide.

In May 2023, the GLI Group acquired iTech Global Pty Ltd (iTech Labs), making it a wholly owned subsidiary of GLI Australia Pty Ltd. Despite the acquisition, iTech Labs continues to operate independently, retaining its brand, management team, and operational processes while benefiting from GLI’s global network and regulatory relationships. Founder Kiren Sreekumar retired in October 2023, with Alvin Rizaldi succeeding him as CEO. Rizaldi had been with iTech Labs since 2007, holding various senior roles including Chief Commercial Officer. In January 2026, long-time team member nAni Srinivasan was appointed President, further strengthening the leadership structure.
