Formation and Corporate Structure

ProhiBet was introduced in 2022 by U.S. Integrity and Odds On Compliance, two established firms in the U.S. sports-betting compliance space. U.S. Integrity provides integrity monitoring and unusual wagering detection, while Odds On Compliance specialises in regulatory databases and licensing technology. The joint venture combined those capabilities into a single platform marketed to sportsbook operators, state regulators, professional leagues, college conferences, and teams. No separate legal entity address or standalone headcount has been made public; the business has operated as a product/brand of the two parents.

In 2024, U.S. Integrity and Odds On Compliance merged to form Integrity Compliance 360, or IC360. ProhiBet continued as one of the combined group's flagship integrity products. Public reporting around the merger described the platform as a core part of IC360's compliance and integrity portfolio, rather than a separate company.

How ProhiBet Works

The core workflow is straightforward. Leagues, teams, conferences, and state regulators provide ProhiBet with identifying data for prohibited individuals, including athletes, coaches, officials, and league/team employees. Participating sportsbooks query that registry before accepting a wager, both pre-match and in-play. If a prohibited person is matched to a betting account or wager, the sportsbook is alerted in real time and can block or flag the transaction. Depending on the configuration, the relevant league, team, conference, or state regulator may also be notified.

In addition to the live monitoring layer, ProhiBet includes an education and certification module. This e-learning content is designed to inform student-athletes, coaches, and team personnel about sports-wagering rules and the consequences of violating them, helping prevent infractions before they happen.

Adoption and Public Profile

ProhiBet's most visible deployment has been in U.S. college athletics, where the NCAA and member conferences have used the platform to monitor student-athlete betting and meet state-level integrity requirements. The service received wide media attention in 2024 when Mississippi State University confirmed that two of its athletes had been flagged through ProhiBet in connection with sports betting. The case, reported by FocusGN and other outlets, was cited as evidence that prohibited-bettor monitoring is now an active enforcement tool in college sports.

Key Products

ProhiBet's main offering is the ProhiBet Monitoring Platform, the prohibited-bettor registry and real-time wagering check service. Alongside it, ProhiBet Education & Certification provides compliance training for athletes and staff. For sportsbook operators, ProhiBet API / Sportsbook Integration is the technical layer that allows wagers to be checked automatically against the registry. These are not separate commercial brands; they are components of a single platform.

ProhiBet does not publish a standalone C-suite page. Public leadership is tied to the parent companies. Matthew Holt is CEO of U.S. Integrity and is frequently quoted in ProhiBet announcements.
