PGRI Public Gaming Research Institute Lottery Expo

The PGRI Lottery Expo is an annual fall conference focused on the government-sponsored lottery industry. It brings together public policy makers, government lottery executives, regulators, and top commercial companies to discuss challenges and opportunities facing lotteries. The 2026 theme asks: 'What does it mean to be a “Lottery” in 2026 and beyond?' Topics include adapting to disruptive forces, competing with new gaming options, engaging digital-native consumers, navigating regulatory changes, and evolving strategies while preserving integrity and player protection.

The event attracts government lottery officials and regulators (who receive complimentary registration), vendors and commercial companies supplying technology, games, marketing, and services to the lottery industry, as well as industry thought leaders, sponsors, and exhibitors. The expo runs from October 20 to 22, 2026, at the Graduate by Hilton Nashville. The opening night reception is on October 20, followed by conference sessions on October 21 and a half-day of sessions on October 22, concluding with a lunch and reception. The event is co-hosted by the Tennessee Lottery and organized by the Public Gaming Research Institute (PGRI, Inc.), which has been supporting the government-sponsored gaming industry since 1971 and also publishes Public Gaming Magazine and runs the PGRI Smart-Tech spring conference.
