Chris Evans has joined Atlantis Bahamas as VP of Resort Marketing after previously serving as VP of Hospitality and Entertainment Marketing at Caesars Entertainment. His move coincides with a $475 million investment plan at the Brookfield-owned resort, which includes a full renovation of The Cove and recorded record visitation in 2024-2025.
Chris Evans has been appointed Vice President of Resort Marketing at Atlantis Bahamas, departing his prior role as VP of Hospitality and Entertainment Marketing at Caesars Entertainment. He announced the transition on his LinkedIn profile, indicating a relocation from Las Vegas to The Bahamas; the resort itself has not yet released a formal statement outlining his specific duties.
Evans brings more than two decades of marketing expertise spanning hospitality, entertainment, travel, media planning, and advertising analytics. Before his most recent position at Caesars, he served as the operator's Senior Director of Global Advertising.
Atlantis Bahamas operates as part of the larger Atlantis Paradise Island integrated resort on Paradise Island, a Brookfield-owned property. The complex features a land-based casino spanning roughly 60,000 square feet, equipped with more than 700 slot machines, 85 gaming tables, and private gaming salons.
Investment and Renovation Program
Evans's appointment comes amid a significant capital expenditure cycle at the resort. Brookfield completed a $1.93 billion refinancing of Atlantis Paradise Island in 2025 and has committed an additional $475 million in investments over five years. The program includes a full renovation of The Cove beginning in 2026, along with upgrades to guestrooms, public areas, pools, and dining venues.
Over the prior five-year period, more than $260 million had already been deployed. That spending covered refurbishments of The Royal's guestrooms, casino enhancements, and new food-and-beverage outlets.
Industry Recognition and Performance
Atlantis Paradise Island was shortlisted for LatAm & Caribbean Operator of the Year at the 2025 Global Gaming Awards Americas, underscoring its standing in the region's integrated-resort and casino sector. According to Brookfield's refinancing announcement, the property recorded its highest visitation levels during 2024 and 2025.
Evans's background in marketing casino hospitality and live entertainment within Las Vegas equips him to promote multiple revenue streams under a single destination brand—a skill directly applicable to Atlantis Bahamas's integrated model.
Other Recent Appointments
Evans's hire follows the selection of Vaughn Roberts as chief operating officer of the resort. Separately, Marina Bay Sands has named Angelita Teo, former director of the National Museum of Singapore, as VP of Attractions. Teo will oversee destinations such as the ArtScience Museum and the SkyPark Observation Deck.
