Mohegan Sun unveils star-packed concert series for 30th anniversary

Mohegan Sun will host a two-weekend concert series in October featuring Alanis Morissette, Foo Fighters, John Mayer, Lainey Wilson, and a DJ Cassidy hip-hop revue to mark its 30th anniversary, with tickets going on sale in July.
Mohegan Sun will celebrate three decades of operations with a two-weekend concert series at its arena this October, featuring five major headliners spanning rock, pop, hip-hop, and country.
The festivities kick off on Friday, Oct. 2, with Alanis Morissette, followed by Foo Fighters on Sunday, Oct. 4. The second weekend brings John Mayer on Friday, Oct. 9, Lainey Wilson on Saturday, Oct. 10, and closes on Sunday, Oct. 11 with DJ Cassidy's Pass The Mic Live! – a collaborative show bringing together Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Jadakiss, and Nelly.
Jeff Hamilton, President and General Manager of Mohegan Sun, said the property has “grown into one of the most successful and highest-grossing tribal gaming destinations in the country” by continuously evolving its entertainment and guest offerings.
Morissette, whose 1995 album Jagged Little Pill became a cultural landmark, is a seven-time Grammy winner known for hits such as “You Oughta Know” and “Ironic.” Foo Fighters, inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, have earned 15 Grammy Awards and anthems like “Everlong” and “The Pretender.”
John Mayer, also a seven-time Grammy winner, has sold more than 20 million albums globally, with staples such as “Your Body Is a Wonderland” and “Gravity.” Lainey Wilson, reigning CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year, brings chart-topping country singles including “Heart Like a Truck” and “Watermelon Moonshine.”
DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic Live!, a rotating hip-hop revue, has previously sold out venues such as Radio City Music Hall and the Kia Forum.
Tickets for Morissette and Foo Fighters go on sale Friday, July 10, via Ticketmaster (box office opens July 11). All second-weekend shows – Mayer, Wilson, and DJ Cassidy – will have tickets available starting Friday, July 17, with box office sales on July 18.
The anniversary comes alongside Mohegan Sun Arena’s own 25th anniversary. The venue was recently named Best Casino Concert Venue in the 2026 Newsweek Readers’ Choice Awards and Casino/Resort Venue of the Year at the 37th Annual Pollstar Awards. Additional promotional events for Mohegan Sun’s 30th birthday are expected to be announced in the coming months.
