Napoleon Games Wins Brussels Casino Concession for Viage Property

Napoleon Games has been awarded a 15-year concession to operate the Viage casino in Brussels, starting in 2027, with the license valued at €750 million. The casino, currently run by Casinos Austria International, will transfer to the Superbet-owned operator, which also runs other gaming venues in Belgium.
Napoleon Games has secured the concession to operate the Brussels casino currently branded as Viage, with the handover set for January 1, 2027. The 15-year license was awarded by the city's mayor, and the Land and Economic Affairs Authority has valued the concession at €750 million (excluding VAT).
The casino, located on Boulevard Anspach in central Brussels' pedestrian zone, spans 14,300 square meters and holds a Class I gaming license, making it one of nine such establishments in Belgium. It has been run by Casinos Austria International since 2010 and reportedly attracts over 310,000 visitors each year.
Napoleon Games, owned by Romanian group Superbet since 2021, already operates the Grand Casino Knokke in Knokke-Heist and 25 gaming arcades across Belgium, employing around 400 people. The concession process drew interest from six operators.
The City of Brussels expressed satisfaction with the outcome, stating it was pleased to "continue the development of an emblematic establishment in the city centre, a player in the tourist, economic and event attractiveness of the capital."
