TaDa Gaming Highlights Gamification Tool Shifts Focus from Rewards to Player Experiences

As iGaming operators contend with rising acquisition costs and tightening regulations, retention has become a central priority. TaDa Gaming has introduced a new gamification tool, Highlights, that moves beyond traditional reward mechanics to celebrate and share memorable gameplay moments.

According to Dahung Chen, the provider’s Head of Product Management, the industry is shifting from reward-based gamification to experience-driven engagement. This evolution draws on TaDa’s history of innovation in fish-shooting games and insights gained from streamer communities in Latin America.

Highlights allows players to capture key moments—such as a big win or entertaining sequence—and share them on social media. The tool creates authentic user-generated content for operators while offering a natural break in gameplay that supports responsible gaming practices.

The feature is pre-loaded into several of TaDa’s top titles, including the Fortune Gems series, the celebrity-branded Fortune Yuri 500, Lucky Jaguar 500, Money Coming, and others. Operators gain organic brand exposure without additional cost, and players receive a personalised experience they can share with their communities.

Early feedback shows that players spend more time with games that include Highlights. Since TaDa pre-integrates the functionality, no extra development effort is needed from operators, making it a simple route to stronger retention.

Chen noted that the next phase of gamification will be defined by the quality of experiences and social interaction they generate. Highlights aligns with responsible gaming by encouraging players to share moments they genuinely value, rather than chasing rewards.

For TaDa Gaming, the tool represents a strategic shift from incentivising play to keeping games top of mind through emotional connection. Highlights is already contributing to the provider’s ecosystem and operator engagement goals.
