Adam Pliska

Adam Pliska is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the World Poker Tour (WPT), the premier poker tournament and entertainment brand. He joined the organization in the early 2000s as General Counsel and later assumed the CEO role. Under his leadership, WPT has grown from a television property into a multi-platform gaming enterprise that includes the flagship WPT World Championship at the Wynn Las Vegas, WPT Prime, and the online subscription service ClubWPT Gold.

Pliska has been a driving force behind the brand’s expansion into regulated online poker markets and the development of large-scale guaranteed prize pools, including a $40 million guarantee for the 2024 WPT World Championship. He is also a featured speaker at industry events such as SBC Leaders and SVG Summits, where he discusses the evolution of live poker coverage and the intersection of technology and gaming.
