Alan Ellingson

Alan Ellingson is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of DraftKings Inc., a prominent digital sports and gaming company. He assumed this role in May 2024, following a series of increasingly senior finance and analytics positions within the company.

Ellingson joined DraftKings in February 2020 as the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. He quickly advanced, becoming Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance in February 2022, and then SVP of Finance and Analytics in January 2023. In his capacity as CFO, he is responsible for overseeing the company's strategic financial planning, reporting processes, investor relations, and guiding executive stakeholders. He also directs DraftKings' analytics teams, focusing on data-driven growth, performance management, and business efficiency. He started as an Enterprise Strategy Expert in June 2012, progressing to Director of Corporate/Enterprise in April 2015, and then to VP of Corporate/Enterprise and Global Strategic Finance in September 2016. His last role at Iron Mountain was VP of Finance, Global Operations Support, which he held from February 2019 to February 2020.

Academically, Ellingson holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Utah and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business. His career demonstrates a strong focus on finance and strategy, with a proven track record in leadership roles across notable companies.
