Alexiei Dingli
Full Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Malta; Founder of Digital Brain
Prof. Alexiei Dingli is a Full Professor of Artificial Intelligence within the Faculty of ICT at the University of Malta, where he has been teaching and researching AI for over 25 years. He holds a B.Sc.IT (Hons) from the University of Malta, a Ph.D. from the University of Sheffield, and an MBA from Grenoble. His work spans applied AI, machine learning, and natural language processing, with a strong focus on practical business applications.
Outside academia, he is the founder of Digital Brain, an AI consultancy and training company that helps organisations – including those in the iGaming industry – implement AI solutions for fraud detection, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. He is a recognised thought leader in AI for iGaming and frequently speaks at industry events such as AIBC and SiGMA.
