Alireza Siadat
Partner at Deloitte Legal Frankfurt, leading the firm’s Blockchain & Digital Assets practice
Alireza Siadat is a German lawyer and a widely recognized blockchain and crypto expert. Since 2012 he has worked in leading law firms, building and leading advisory practices for blockchain, distributed ledger technology (DLT) and crypto assets. He currently serves as a Partner at Deloitte Legal in Frankfurt, where he heads the Blockchain & Digital Assets practice, advising banks, financial institutions, FinTechs and corporates on German and European regulatory law with a focus on DLT and crypto assets.
Prior to Deloitte, Siadat was a partner at Annerton, a law firm specialized in financial services regulation. He helped establish Annerton’s Frankfurt office in 2020 and built the firm's blockchain and DLT advisory practice. He joined Deloitte Legal in February 2025, bringing deep expertise in MiCAR and the German Electronic Securities Act (eWpG).
Beyond client work, Siadat has served as an expert witness before the German Bundestag on crypto-related legislation. He is a board member of the International Association for Trusted Blockchain Applications (INATBA) and Bundesblock, advises Blockchain Founders Group and tokenforge, and is co-editor of the Journal for the Law of the Digital Economy. His publications cover key regulatory frameworks shaping digital assets in Europe, including MiCAR and eWpG.
