Ambrose So Shu Fai is a Hong Kong-born business executive best known as a long-serving senior figure in Stanley Ho's Macau gambling empire. He currently serves as Deputy Chairman and Executive Director of SJM Holdings Limited, the parent company of Macau casino concession holder SJM Resorts, S.A.\n\nSo built his career inside the STDM/SJM network of companies that historically held Macau's gambling monopoly. He became one of Ho's most trusted executives and was widely regarded as the operating face of SJM's Macau casinos. In 2008 he led the group through its Hong Kong stock market listing as chief executive.\n\nIn 2018, after Daisy Ho succeeded Stanley Ho as chairman, So was reappointed Deputy Chairman and remained an executive director. His current responsibilities focus on stewardship of SJM Holdings and its Macau casino operations.\n\nBeyond the gaming industry, So has held public and community positions, including membership on the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the presidency of the Macau Football Association. He has received the Gold Bauhinia Star and is a Hong Kong Justice of the Peace.
