Anders Dorph

Anders Dorph is the Director of the Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden), a position he has held since November 2020. He oversees one of Europe’s most progressive online gambling markets and is a leading voice on regulatory collaboration, consumer protection, and match‑fixing prevention.

Before joining the gambling authority, Dorph spent four years as Head of Asylum at the Danish Immigration Service from 2016 to 2020. Earlier in his career he worked for several years in the Danish Ministry of Justice and served as an executive in the Danish police. He holds a master’s degree in Law from the University of Copenhagen, where he also works as an external professor in criminal law.

Dorph was appointed Vice‑chair of the Gambling Regulators European Forum (GREF) in June 2023 and became its Chair in 2025. He is an active Trustee of the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR).
