Andrea Ellis

Andrea Ellis is the Chief Financial Officer of Fanatics Betting & Gaming, the online sports betting and iGaming division of Fanatics. Appointed in October 2022, she is responsible for overseeing business and financial planning and analysis across all finance functions, including accounting, budget, tax, and cost management. In this role, she also plays an integral part in developing strategies across the business and has oversight of payments and fraud. Ellis reports directly to Matt King, the CEO of Fanatics Betting & Gaming.

Before joining Fanatics, Ellis served for two years as the Chief Financial Officer of Lime, a global electric scooter and bike-share company. During her tenure at Lime, she was instrumental in the company's expansion into nearly 30 countries, leading to multiple quarters of profitability post-COVID-19 pandemic and successfully raising over $500 million in funding. Her leadership at Lime also earned her recognition as the 2022 “Bay Area CFO of the Year – Non-Public Company” by the San Francisco Business Times.

Prior to her time at Lime, Ellis held various leadership positions with increasing responsibilities at Restaurant Brands International (RBI), one of the world's largest quick-service restaurant companies. Her roles at RBI included Head of Investor Relations and Global Financial Planning & Analysis, Chief Financial Officer and interim Head of Retail for Tim Hortons, and General Manager of Popeyes, where she managed field operations for approximately one-third of the chain's U.S. locations.

Ellis began her professional career at Goldman Sachs, working in both equities trading and investment banking. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors of BridgeBio Pharma, Inc., where she chairs the Audit Committee.
