Andrew Gellatly has built a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years in the online gambling industry, blending journalism, consulting, and regulatory leadership. He began his professional path as a reporter at the Financial Times, where he covered sport and gambling, developing a deep understanding of the sector's commercial and regulatory dynamics.

He went on to found iGaming Business and VIXIO GamblingCompliance, two of the most influential knowledge portals and research platforms in the iGaming world. Through these ventures, Gellatly established himself as a trusted analyst and advisor, leading research projects for governments, regulators, and operators across the globe.

In December 2022, Gellatly was appointed as only the third executive director in the history of the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC), the regulator for online gambling in Alderney. In this role, he oversees the commission's day-to-day operations and contributes to shaping regulatory policy for the industry.
