Andrey Kurennykh is the Co‑founder and CEO of Tangem, a Swiss company that designs and manufactures hardware wallets for self‑custody of cryptocurrencies. He brings more than 20 years of experience in technology and management.
Before founding Tangem, Kurennykh held leadership roles in IT and business development. He served as Deputy CIO at Sibur, a Russian petrochemical holding, from 2002 to 2003, responsible for infrastructure, process automation, and ERP. He then worked as Business Development Manager at Columbus IT from 2003 to 2004. From 2010 to 2016, he was Head of Mobile Solutions at Compulink Group.
Kurennykh studied at Moscow Aviation Institute (National Research University) from 1995 to 2001. His current focus at Tangem is on delivering secure self-custody solutions for digital assets, with Tangem's products used across the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.
