Anurag Dikshit

Anurag Dikshit is an Indian-born technology entrepreneur and philanthropist best known as a co-founder of PartyGaming, the Gibraltar-based online gambling company behind PartyPoker. He was part of the founding team from around 1997 and was central to the software and technology that helped make PartyPoker one of the world's largest online poker platforms in the early 2000s.

When PartyGaming floated on the London Stock Exchange in 2005, Dikshit's shareholding made him a billionaire. In 2008, he pleaded guilty to a U.S. internet-gambling charge connected to the processing of bets from American customers and agreed to pay $300 million in one of the online-gambling industry's highest-profile enforcement settlements. He left PartyGaming's board the same year.

Since leaving PartyGaming, Dikshit has kept a low public profile and has generally been described as a philanthropist and private investor, with giving focused on health, education, and social causes. No current gambling-industry employer is confirmed.
