Aristidis Tsikouras is the CEO of GeWeTe, a cash handling technology company within the Merkur Group. In 2025, he was honored with the ICE Landmark Award, recognizing his 25 years of service and contributions to the global gaming industry.
He began his career with the Merkur Group in 1999 as a field sales representative at adp Merkur. In 2003, he moved to GeWeTe as Sales Director, and was later granted power of attorney in 2006. He joined the management board for the sales division in 2008, and became Managing Director responsible for all areas except Development and Quality Management in 2013.
Since 2019, he has served as the sole Managing Director and CEO of GeWeTe, leading the company's strategic direction and growth within the cash handling sector of the gaming industry.
