Arnout Schuijff
Co-founder and CEO of Tebi
Arnout Schuijff co-founded Adyen in 2006 alongside Pieter van der Does and served as its Chief Technology Officer for 14 years. He helped build the company into a global payment-processing giant and became a billionaire when Adyen went public in 2018. He stepped down from Adyen's management board on January 1, 2021.
In 2021, Schuijff co-founded Tebi, an Amsterdam-based hospitality operating system that unifies payments, reservations, kitchen displays, inventory, and bookkeeping. Tebi raised a €30M Series B in 2024 led by Alphabet's CapitalG. He also invested €750,000 in the ticketing startup WeTicket. Although his background is in payments technology, Adyen's role as a payment processor for iGaming operators places him indirectly within the gambling industry.
