Bob Kabonero

Bob Kabonero (born January 1965 in Ntungamo District, Uganda) is a self‑made billionaire whose wealth originates primarily from gaming, entertainment, and related sectors. He is widely regarded as one of Uganda’s most experienced gaming entrepreneurs and keeps a low public profile. Kabonero’s business interests span gaming, telecommunications, logistics, transport, finance, and technology. He is the brother of diplomat Richard Kabonero and the late businesswoman Constance Kabonero.
In the gaming industry, Kabonero is the Chairman of Ithuba Uganda Limited, the company that holds the licence for the Uganda National Lottery, and he also backs Verscalli Ltd, the local licence holder of the same lottery. He has represented the Uganda Gaming Operators Association, speaking publicly on industry taxation and regulation. In addition to his gaming roles, Kabonero is the Managing Director of Audley Limited, a holding company based in Kampala, Uganda. His diversified holdings in entertainment, telecommunications, logistics, and finance underscore his reputation as a jack of many trades in the Ugandan business landscape.
