Brandon M. Scott is the Democratic Mayor of Baltimore, Maryland, having first been elected in 2020 and re-elected in 2024. He is a Baltimore native from the Park Heights neighborhood and a graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland. His administration has focused on public safety, youth investment, community development, and police reform.\n\nScott began his political career in city government and was first elected to the Baltimore City Council in 2011, representing the city’s 2nd District.
