CEO and Alternate Governor, Boston Bruins / CEO, Delaware North Boston Holdings

Charlie Jacobs is the Chief Executive Officer and Alternate Governor of the Boston Bruins and the CEO of Delaware North’s Boston Holdings, which includes TD Garden, the Hub on Causeway, and New England Sports Network (NESN). Alongside his brothers Jerry Jacobs Jr. and Lou Jacobs, he provides leadership to Delaware North’s seven operating subsidiaries, spanning food and retail, sports facility ownership, parks, hotels, gaming, and fine dining.

Jacobs founded and chairs the Boston Bruins Foundation, which has raised over $67 million for children and families in New England since 2003. He has served on the NESN board for 23 years and was instrumental in launching NESN 360, the first direct-to-consumer streaming service from a U.S. regional sports network. Under his guidance, the Bruins were named Sports Business Journal’s 2012 Sports Team of the Year, and he was inducted into the publication’s Forty Under 40 Class of 2009.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Boston College and is an accomplished equestrian who has represented the United States Equestrian Team. He resides in Boston with his wife Liz.
