Feeney is executive vice president and chief financial officer for Delaware North, responsible for the company’s relationships with financial institutions, as well as its financial strategy for all global operations, including operating subsidiaries that are industry leaders in food and retail operations at professional sports venues, sports facility ownership and management, gaming operations, lodging, and visitor services at national parks. Beyond finance (accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis), Feeney oversees corporate development, procurement, risk and compliance, and information technology. Under his leadership, Delaware North has maintained a strong financial position to reinvest in its business lines, particularly capital improvements at operating locations and enhancements to corporate infrastructure.
Prior to joining Delaware North in 2009, Feeney was senior vice president and treasurer for Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE: WYN), where he oversaw all capital-raising activities and relationships with rating agencies, banks, and institutional investors. While at Wyndham, he oversaw $7 billion in financings and maintained the company’s investment-grade rating during the housing crisis (2007–2009)—one of only two public hospitality companies to retain that rating.
Before Wyndham, Feeney held management positions of increasing importance at Sunrise Senior Living, Marriott International, and Ernst & Young LLP. He holds an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz Graduate School of Business, a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia, and an undergraduate degree from Washington & Jefferson College.
