David Krone is Global Head of Policy at Apollo Global Management, where he supports the firm’s leadership on public policy issues, oversees engagement with policymakers, and advises Apollo Funds’ portfolio companies. He is a member of the firm’s Leadership Team.
Before joining Apollo in 2021, Krone served as Chief of Staff to then‑Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a role in which he was deeply involved in federal online poker legislation efforts. Prior to his government service, he was Senior Vice President at Comcast Corporation from January to October 2008. Earlier, he was Executive Vice President of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA) and held senior roles at YES Network, GlobalCenter, Inc., and Tele‑Communications, Inc. (which later merged with AT&T to form AT&T Broadband).
