Dimitris Maris

Dimitris Maris is a prominent Greek businessman with a significant presence in the media, iGaming, and technology sectors for over 15 years. He co-founded Kaizen Gaming (operating as Stoiximan and Betano) in 2012, building it into a major global player in the GameTech industry with operations in numerous markets.

Maris is also the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of 24MEDIA Group, one of Greece's leading digital publishing and radio groups, established in 2005. His entrepreneurial journey includes pursuing international partnerships in Greece with global entities such as Huffington Post, NBA, and Euroleague. He was instrumental in launching the Greek edition of The Huffington Post in 2014.

Beyond his leadership roles, Maris is an active investor and advisor. He has served as a member of the Advisory Committee at Marathon Venture Capital since 2018 and is an investor in Velocity.Partners Venture Capital. His investment portfolio includes companies like Change.org and Syncbnb. He is also the Founder of the Eteron Institute, established in 2022.

Educated in architectural engineering at Drexel University in the United States, Maris has a broad business and investment background that spans media, education, new media, and technologies. He previously served as President of the Greek Online Publishers Association from 2015 to 2019 and was the publisher of the Greek newspaper "Ethnos" from 2017 to 2018.
