Dr. Toby Sucharov

Dr. Toby Sucharov is the Chief Technology Officer at Yaspa, a payment services provider focused on the iGaming industry. He was appointed to this role in July 2023, where he is responsible for introducing and optimizing Yaspa's account-to-account payment solutions across various sectors and geographies.

Prior to joining Yaspa, Dr. Sucharov held significant positions at Playtech, a leading gambling technology company. His roles included Head of UK Innovation and Head of Games Platform as a Service (GPAS), where he was instrumental in creating a platform responsible for processing tens of billions of transactions annually. His expertise lies in scaling technology products to serve numerous iGaming businesses globally.

Before his tenure at Playtech, Dr. Sucharov founded and managed Corosin Ltd, which he later sold to Playtech in 2015. He also contributed to William Hill, working on their automated sports pricing systems. He holds several patents and earned a PhD in Medical Physics from Sheffield.

Dr. Sucharov's background in iGaming has given him a deep understanding of the potential of payment solutions like Yaspa's, particularly their ability to link users to bank accounts and verify ownership through multi-factor authentication. He believes this will be a game-changer for industries susceptible to fraud or requiring stringent Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
