Ed Craven

Edward “Ed” Craven (born 1995) is an Australian billionaire entrepreneur. He is best known as the co‑founder and CEO of Stake.com, the largest crypto‑backed online casino, and the co‑founder of the live‑streaming platform Kick.

Craven grew up in Melbourne, Australia, and attended Bishop Druitt College. He developed an early interest in online gaming, technology, and cryptocurrencies. After experimenting with virtual gambling in the game RuneScape, he and Bijan Tehrani created the cryptocurrency dice game Primedice in 2013. In 2016 they launched Easygo, a company that develops online casino games. The Stake brand debuted in 2017 and quickly became one of the world’s leading gambling platforms, licensed in Curaçao and operating offices in Serbia, Australia, and Cyprus. Stake is known for aggressive marketing partnerships, including shirt sponsorships with Everton FC and Watford FC, and backing the Sauber Formula One team (rebranded as Stake F1 Team). In 2022 Craven and Tehrani founded the live‑streaming service Kick as a competitor to Twitch.

Forbes estimates Craven’s net worth at approximately US$2.2 billion, placing him on the World Billionaires list. He is one of Australia’s youngest self‑made billionaires.
