Eric Anziani

Eric Anziani serves as the President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Crypto.com, a leading cryptocurrency exchange. In his role, he oversees various global functions, including strategy, product, sales, international expansion, operations, data, research, and blockchain integration. He has been instrumental in the conceptualization and implementation of major company initiatives, such as the Crypto.com App and the Crypto.org Chain.

Anziani is a seasoned technology leader with over 16 years of experience in strategy, partnerships, and innovation across financial services, payments, fintech, and lifestyle technology sectors. Before joining Crypto.com in 2018 as SVP of Group Strategy, he held various positions at prominent global companies. These include Goldman Sachs, McKinsey & Company, PayPal, and Global Fashion Group, where he contributed to defining growth plans, negotiating partnerships, and developing strategic solutions in London, Paris, Singapore, and Tokyo.

He was promoted to COO in September 2019 and then to President in December 2022, while retaining his COO responsibilities. Under his leadership, Crypto.com has significantly expanded its global footprint, secured licenses worldwide, grown its user base to over 70 million, and developed its product and NFT offerings.

Anziani is actively involved in the blockchain and startup ecosystem, contributing as an Advisory Committee Member with Elevandi, Chair of the Web3 Subcommittee with the Singapore Fintech Association, and a member and sponsor of the Blockchain Association of Singapore (BAS) and the Association of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Enterprises and Start-ups Singapore (ACCESS). He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master of Science degree from CentraleSupélec.

His company, Crypto.com, has been involved in the broader iGaming and gambling industry context, notably receiving cease-and-desist orders from regulatory bodies like the Illinois Gaming Board due to alleged unlicensed sports wagering activities. The company also explores partnerships in the gaming sector, integrating crypto payments and NFT strategies.
