Fernando Morientes
Former Real Madrid and Spain striker turned football ambassador and keynote speaker, confirmed to appear at SBC Summit Tbilisi 2026.
Fernando Morientes Sánchez (born 5 April 1976) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a striker. He began his career at Albacete, later moving to Real Zaragoza before joining Real Madrid in 1997. At Madrid he won three UEFA Champions League titles, two La Liga championships, and two Intercontinental Cups. After a loan spell at Monaco (where he was the 2003‑04 Champions League top scorer), he played for Liverpool, Valencia, and Marseille.
Morientes earned 47 caps for Spain, scoring 27 goals, and represented his country at the 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cups and UEFA Euro 2004. Following his playing career, he worked briefly as a youth coach for Huracán and Real Madrid's youth setup, and later managed Fuenlabrada.
In July 2026 he will appear as a keynote speaker at SBC Summit Tbilisi, the leading iGaming & Sports conference in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, where he will discuss winning culture in sport and business. His appearance marks a rare crossover from elite football into the iGaming industry, drawing on his experience as a top-level competitor to inspire business audiences.
