Gábor Bordás
State Secretary for Public Administration, Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister of Hungary
Gábor Bordás serves as State Secretary for Public Administration (Administrative State Secretary) in the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister of Hungary, a role he has held since at least February 2025. In this capacity, he oversees public administration reform and has been involved in legislative and leadership development programs.
Bordás was also a board member of Szerencsejáték Zrt., the Hungarian state lottery and gambling company, until his removal along with three other board members in July 2026 as part of a governance shake-up. His tenure on the board coincided with his government role.
His public profile includes speaking at the Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) Women’s Public Leadership Program and approving official residences for former military chiefs, as reported by Atlatszo.hu in February 2025.
