
Geronimo Cardia
President of ACADI Confcommercio (the Italian gaming industry association) and Founder of Studio Cardia / GCLEGAL.IT
Geronimo Cardia is an Italian Supreme Court Attorney (Avvocato Cassazionista), Chartered Accountant (Dottore Commercialista), and Statutory Auditor (Revisore Contabile). He is the founder and head of Studio Cardia / GCLEGAL.IT, a legal boutique that won the Le Fonti Awards for “Boutique of Excellence of the Year in the Gaming Sector” in 2019, 2024, and 2025.
Cardia serves as President of ACADI Confcommercio, the national association representing gaming operators within the Confcommercio system. He was formerly an adjunct professor of International Tax Law at the “G. D’Annunzio” University of Chieti‑Pescara and is the author of the book “Public Gaming in Italy: Reorganization, Territorial Issues and Institutional Short Circuits” (Giappichelli).
A frequent speaker and moderator at international gaming conferences such as SiGMA Central Europe and Italian Gaming Expo, Cardia has written extensively on territorial regulation, distance meters, and reform of Italy’s public gaming sector. His work combines legal expertise with deep industry insight, making him a leading voice in Italian gaming law and policy.
