In Keuk Kim is a seasoned executive in the digital gaming and technology sectors. He has served as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the board of directors of DoubleDown Interactive Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: DDI) since November 2019, and has been CEO of DoubleDown Interactive’s operating entity (DUD) since May 2017. Under his leadership, the company has expanded through acquisitions including SuprNation AB in October 2023, where he also assumed the role of Chairman.
Prior to leading DoubleDown, Kim held strategic roles at DoubleU Games, a South Korean game company. He served as an outside director from 2013 and then as Executive Director and Chief Strategy Officer from April 2015 until October 2017. His contributions helped shape the company’s growth trajectory in the social casino space.
Kim’s earlier career spanned cloud computing development, proprietary trading, and corporate mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), earned in 2000.
