Jeremy M. Jacobs

Jeremy M. Jacobs (born January 21, 1940, in Buffalo, New York) is an American billionaire businessman who serves as Chairman of Delaware North, a global hospitality and food service company operating in sports, travel, entertainment, and gaming venues across four continents. He is also the owner and governor of the National Hockey League's Boston Bruins, a position he has held since 1975, and has been Chairman of the NHL Board of Governors since 2007.

Jacobs earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Management and attended the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He took over the family business—then known as Emprise—at age 28 upon the death of his father, Louis Jacobs, in 1968. He later reorganized the company as Delaware North and has led its expansion into a multinational enterprise with approximately 55,000 associates serving half a billion customers annually. Delaware North's operations include food and retail at airports and sports venues, ownership of TD Garden, park operations, hotel management, gaming operations (including Southland Park Gaming and Racing in Arkansas), and premier dining and catering services. Under Jacobs' leadership, Delaware North has grown to $3.7 billion in annual revenue.

Jacobs has been extensively involved in charitable work, including founding the Boston Bruins Foundation in 2003. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in the Builder’s category in 2017 and has received numerous other honors, including the Lester Patrick Trophy (2015) and the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame (2006).
