Jimmy Maymann

Jimmy Maymann-Holler (born 1971 in Copenhagen, Denmark) is a Danish entrepreneur and executive with a background in digital advertising, digital technology, and new media strategy. He graduated from the University of Odense with a degree in Economics and International Marketing and later completed an executive MBA at London Business School.

Maymann began his internet career in 1995 by co-founding Neo Ideo, an internet consultancy, where he served as Managing Partner until its acquisition by Leo Burnett in 1999. He then joined Leo Burnett as Strategic Director and eventually became Global Discipline Head of its marketing services practice, Arc Worldwide, staying until 2004.

In 2005 he co-founded GoViral, an online video distribution company, which was acquired by AOL in February 2011 for $96.7 million. Following the acquisition, he was promoted to Senior Vice President of International of the AOL Huffington Post Media Group. In December 2012 he was appointed CEO of HuffPost, a role he held until September 2015, during which he led international expansion and profitable growth. He then served as Executive Vice President and President of AOL Content & Consumer Brands from September 2015 to January 2017.

After leaving AOL, Maymann focused on tech investments and board work. In May 2023 he was appointed Deputy Chairman of Superbet Group, and on 15 January 2024 he succeeded Johnny Hartnett as CEO of Superbet Group, an Eastern European betting and gaming operator.
