John Gleasure

John Gleasure is a highly experienced executive in the sports, media, and technology sectors, with a career spanning over 30 years. He is currently the Chairman of Playtech, a leading platform, content, and services provider in the online gambling industry, having been appointed to the board in April 2025 and officially assuming the Chairman role following the company's Annual General Meeting in May 2025.

Gleasure is also recognized as the co-founder of Perform, a digital sports media business he helped grow into a major provider of live data and content for online betting groups, publishers, and broadcasters. He was instrumental in leading Perform through its successful FTSE listing in 2011. Prior to this, he held various leadership positions across prominent media and technology companies, including roles at Sky Sports, Hutchison 3G, EMI Records, and Sony Pictures.
