John van Roemburg

John van Roemburg is a mechanical engineer and entrepreneur who founded Air Aroma in 1998. After closing his furniture business in the mid‑1990s, he launched the company to provide scent‑marketing solutions to clients such as Accor Hotels, Dunhill, and others. The business grew into a global operation with an estimated revenue of $20 million by 2008.

Van Roemburg was named a Regional Finalist in the 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year awards. His previous career included running a modern Italian/Swedish design furniture business from 1982 to 1994. As CEO and founder of Air Aroma Group, he continues to lead the company's expansion in the scent‑marketing industry.
