Josh Stein

Josh Stein is the 76th Governor of North Carolina, a Democrat, and a longtime public servant. He previously served as North Carolina Attorney General from 2017 to 2025 and as a State Senator from 2009 to 2016. He holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. His career includes work as a Deputy Attorney General, a senior policy advisor, and a prosecutor.
