Kamal Kaaba

Kamal Kaaba is the CEO of Hillside Technology, bet365’s dedicated technology business. He leads a team of more than 1,000 technologists across offices in Stoke-on-Trent and Manchester, overseeing the development and maintenance of the platform that handles millions of transactions during live sporting events.

Before stepping into the CEO role, Kaaba served as head of project delivery at bet365, where he spearheaded the company’s critical migration from Flash to HTML5. Prior to joining bet365, he held roles at Vodafone and at anmika ltd, gaining broad experience in technology leadership.

Kaaba is a vocal advocate for soft-skills development in technology careers and frequently speaks on agile methodologies and talent recruitment in the iGaming sector. He has authored articles on the importance of communication and collaboration for tech professionals, and his insights have been featured in industry publications covering bet365’s expansion and hiring initiatives.
