Karoline Leavitt

Karoline Leavitt (born August 24, 1997) is an American political spokesperson who has served as the 36th White House press secretary since January 20, 2025, under President Donald Trump. She is the youngest person to hold the White House press secretary role. A Republican, she was the party’s nominee in New Hampshire’s 1st congressional district in 2022.

Before becoming press secretary, Leavitt worked as an assistant press secretary in the Trump White House, communications director for Rep. Elise Stefanik, and spokesperson for Trump’s 2024 campaign and the MAGA Inc. super PAC. Her earlier roles include an internship and associate director position in the White House Office of Presidential Correspondence.
