Kevin Li Ying is the Chief Executive Officer of Future plc, a British digital media and publishing company, having taken up the post on 31 March 2025 after a 20-year tenure at the organisation.
He began his career at Future as a programmer in the early 2000s when the company acquired the firm he worked for. He later became Chief Technical Architect and then Chief Technology Officer for eight years, where he led the development of Future’s proprietary technology and e‑commerce infrastructure.
Prior to being appointed CEO, Li Ying served as Executive Vice President of Future’s B2C division, with full responsibility for editorial, advertising, e‑commerce, subscriptions, and circulation. He also drove the company’s Growth Acceleration Strategy announced in December 2023. Li Ying is credited as a key architect of Future’s transformation from a traditional print publisher into a leading global digital media platform. He also serves as a Non‑Executive Director of Eurowag plc.
