
Lars Felderhoff is a trained bank clerk who studied business administration at Leuphana University of Lüneburg and Växjö University, and holds an MBA.
He began his career at the Gauselmann subsidiary Atronic in 2000, then spent several years at GTech (now IGT) and Metro Cash & Carry International, gaining broad international experience. In 2011 he returned to the Merkur Group as Commercial Director of the adp Merkur subsidiary, overseeing commercial operations for more than 40 companies in Germany and abroad. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Gauselmann Group on 1 July 2018 and served in that role until 30 September 2024.
On 1 October 2024, he succeeded company founder Paul Gauselmann as Chairman of the Management Board of the MERKUR GROUP. Felderhoff is based in Espelkamp, North Rhine-Westphalia, and describes his professional focus as 'Transformation, Progress, Responsibility'.
