Laura Fernández Espeso

Laura Fernández Espeso is a Spanish audiovisual executive and CEO of MEDIAPRO, the Barcelona-based media and audiovisual production group. She became group CEO in January 2022 after serving as CEO of The Mediapro Studio since 2019. In the gambling industry, she is best known as an independent board member of CIRSA, one of Spain's largest casino and sports-betting operators.

Her career developed largely inside Spanish television production. She rose through the business that became The Mediapro Studio, formerly Globomedia, holding content and production leadership roles before being appointed CEO of The Mediapro Studio in 2019. Her appointment as group CEO was announced in December 2021 and took effect the following month, succeeding Tatxo Benet.

Through her CIRSA board seat, Fernández Espeso participates in the governance of a major gaming operator, giving her a direct link to the gambling industry. MEDIAPRO's sports-media business also intersects with sports betting through rights, streaming, and content partnerships, and she has appeared as a speaker at betting-facing sports-media events such as SBC Summit Barcelona.
