Liz Irving

Liz Irving is the Chief Executive Officer of Clarion Events North America, the region's leading business-to-business events organiser whose portfolio includes major iGaming and gambling conferences such as ICE and iGB. She was promoted to the CEO position in December 2024 after serving as the company's first-ever President for North America.

Irving brings more than 25 years of experience in the events and exhibitions industry to her role. Her career began after college when she answered a New York Times help-wanted ad and joined Reed Exhibitions as a registration manager. Over 14 years at Reed, she held various marketing leadership roles, including overseeing the leading jewelry media brand JCK. In 2016, she joined Clarion Events as Vice President of Marketing for North America.

She quickly demonstrated a talent for transforming businesses through strategic vision, customer-centric approaches, and data-driven innovation. In 2022 she was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer for North America, and in August 2023 she became the company's first-ever President for the region. Under her leadership, Clarion Events North America achieved robust growth, opened new revenue streams, and earned Great Place to Work certification for three consecutive years.

As CEO, Irving oversees the strategic direction of Clarion's North American business, focusing on customer insights, commercial effectiveness, digital platform development, and innovation. She is committed to fostering a culture of employee engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement. She holds a bachelor's degree from Niagara University, a master's degree from the University of New Haven, and a digital marketing certificate from Cornell University. Irving serves on the boards of SISO and UFI, chairs SISO's Marketing Special Interest Group, and participates in the Women in Exhibitions Network and several Event Technology Advisory Boards. Outside work, she lives in Connecticut with her family and volunteers with her sons' sports teams.
