Manila Di Giovanni is an Italian-Filipino technopreneur and global metaverse leader. At 22 years old, she became one of the youngest metaverse leaders globally after being nominated for the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and winning the Monte-Carlo Woman of the Year Award in 2023 for creating the first virtual economy of a country.
In 2021, she founded DWorld, the company behind the world's first metaverse of a real-world country: the Principality of Monaco. Her vision is to use cutting-edge metaverse technologies to help cities and countries build a more inclusive future through a real-world-based virtual economy, or V-Economy. DWorld's work has expanded to include virtual economies for Malta, Italy, and the Philippines.
Beyond DWorld, Di Giovanni serves as a Member of the Young Leaders Board at MONACO FOUNDRY. She is a sought-after international keynote speaker at iGaming and tech conferences such as SiGMA World and AIBC World, where she shares insights on the metaverse, AI, and the future of digital economies.
