Marco Emilio Hincapié
President of Coljuegos (Colombia's gambling regulatory body), leading the modernization and oversight of the country's gaming industry.
Marco Emilio Hincapié is a Colombian lawyer with a degree from Santo Tomás University, a specialization in Administrative and Constitutional Law from the Catholic University of Colombia, and a postgraduate degree in Public Administration from the Superior School of Public Administration (ESAP). He has over 30 years of experience in the public sector.
Before leading Coljuegos, he held roles including Manager of the Bogotá Lottery and President of the Colombian Lottery Federation (FEDELCO). He also served as a magistrate of the National Electoral Council, a deputy to the Assembly of Tolima, a councilor of Ibagué, and Secretary of Government in a previous administration.
Since becoming President of Coljuegos in 2023, he has emphasized combating illegality, strengthening compliance, increasing tax collections for healthcare, and modernizing the regulator through cloud-based systems and blockchain-based games such as Keno. He has represented Colombia at international events including SAGSE Paraguay and GAT Expo.
