Mark Attard

Mark Attard is the International Liaison Partner and Chief Executive Officer at BDO Malta, where he leads the firm’s gaming advisory and licensing practice. He is responsible for developing business strategies and plans aligned with the firm’s short- and long-term objectives, overseeing all operations and business activities, and making high-quality investment decisions. His work focuses on assisting clients with starting up or relocating their gaming business to Malta, leveraging his extensive experience in finance, company restructuring, turn-around, business development, and advisory.

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and auditor with over 20 years of post-qualification experience, Attard has worked on major assignments with public entities, groups of companies, and multinationals. He is a recognised figure in the iGaming industry, having been interviewed at ICE Totally Gaming and featured on platforms such as CalvinAyre.com and Yogonet International. His role at BDO Malta places him at the centre of the island’s growing gaming and fintech ecosystem, where he also supports clients in payments and related sectors.
