Mary Smith
President and CEO of Four Winds Casinos and Chair of the Board of Four Winds Ventures
Mary Smith is a citizen of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. She joined Four Winds Casinos in 2007 as a Financial Analyst and over her tenure held successive roles of increasing responsibility, including Assistant Property Shift Manager, Property Shift Manager, Director of Hotel Operations, Vice President of Hotel Operations, Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations and Development, and Executive Vice President of Casino Operations.
In February 2024, she was named Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Four Winds Casinos, becoming the first female executive and first Pokagon Citizen to hold that position. She later assumed the role of President and CEO of Four Winds Casinos. She also serves as Chair of the Board of Four Winds Ventures, the casino management and development arm of the Pokagon Band.
Smith holds a degree from Indiana University South Bend. Her career reflects a steady ascent through operations and hotel management, culminating in her current leadership roles overseeing both casino operations and tribal ventures.
