
Mattias Wedar is a seasoned executive and technology leader with over two decades of experience across digital, media, and iGaming sectors. He is recognized as an established expert in the European iGaming industry, with a track record of high-level executive roles focused on product development, technology strategy, and operational leadership.
Wedar joined LeoVegas Group in 2019 as Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO), a position he held until April 2025. During that time he was instrumental in transforming the company from a regional player into a global iGaming powerhouse, overseeing technology hub expansions and brand evolution under the ownership of MGM Resorts International. In April 2025 he was promoted to Deputy CEO, and in June 2025 he succeeded co-founder Gustaf Hagman as Chief Executive Officer of LeoVegas Group.
As CEO, Wedar now leads the group's strategy and operations, building on his deep product and technology expertise to drive continued growth and innovation.
